Friday, Mom and I went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The primary purpose of our visit was to hear a lecture on Katharine Hepburn by Katharine Houghton (her niece), but while we were there we also had afternoon tea in the Petrie Court Cafe and saw the Jeff Koons exhibit on the roof:

Man, I never get to do anything fun because I live in the provinces now. This sucks.
I know I forgot to tell you that I am so sorry I didn't make it to your reading last week. Please keep me in the loop on the next one, I promise I won't be lame and sucky someday.
And yes, I would be totally honored if you wanted to refer to my blog in yours. I am doing this to try to sharpen the edges and keep writing so the more the merrier.
And my fave moment is definitely eating the turkey sandwich in the back of the vault.
